Job summary

Intermedia Group Inc. in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead an inpatient behavioral health hospital.

The CEO will be responsible for day-to-day operations, strategic growth, and financial performance, with full P&L oversight and accountability for quality and regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in senior leadership in behavioral health, with Joint Commission survey experience, QAPI leadership, and a proven track record in staff hiring and retention.

Qualifications

• BA required in a related discipline; MBA/MHA preferred.
• 3–5 years in senior leadership or CEO role in behavioral health/acut e care or equivalent.
• Must have led Joint Commission survey in a behavioral health hospital setting.
• Must have managed full P&L for a hospital with $20M+ budget.
• Must have led QAPI or patient-safety initiatives in a behavioral health hospital.
• Must have directly hired, developed, and retained clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with governing body on annual operating budgets and strategic plans.
• Organizes day-to-day hospital operations through departmentalization and allocation of responsibilities.
• Appraises leadership team performance and provides coaching as needed.
• Ensure staff participation in facility-wide in-service and continuing education.
• Recruit allied health professionals and psychiatrists to expand services.
• Manage contract negotiations and monitor performance with payers.
• Lead development of outpatient and community-based programs.
• Chairs periodic meetings with governing body and hospital leadership.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
