Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. seeks a Chief Executive Officer for the Psychiatric Institute of Washington, a 130‑bed facility offering inpatient, outpatient and partial hospitalization programs.

The role focuses on excellence in behavioral health and strategic leadership to improve patient care outcomes. The CEO will oversee clinical and non‑clinical departments, ensure regulatory compliance, drive growth, and build key partnerships while achieving financial objectives and strategic planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Currently working as a behavioral executive (Executive/Director) of a psychiatric facility.
• Working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment aligned with the organization’s mission, vision and values.
• Oversee operations across clinical and non-clinical departments to drive patient care outcomes.
• Ensure quality metrics meet accreditation and regulatory guidelines.
• Staffing: determine needs, hire, train, supervise and evaluate staff.
• Develop comprehensive care and treatment programs.
• Build relationships with local industry, government, and health providers.
