Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead fundraising, strategy, and community partnerships for the Pioneer Valley and beyond. Reporting to the Board, the CEO will guide staff and volunteers, shaping programs and donor engagement to sustain long‑term vibrancy.

The role requires a proven track record in major gifts, strategic leadership across campaigns, and strong communication with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Senior‑level leadership experience in Jewish federations or large nonprofit organizations.
• Proven ability to lead fundraising campaigns, build donor relationships, and manage budgets.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working with boards and volunteer leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the Board, staff, and community to strengthen JFWM’s role.
• Lead and mentor the professional team, fostering a high‑performing culture.
• Develop and execute fundraising strategy, growing annual campaigns and donor base.
• Represent the organization as chief ambassador to partners and funders.
• Oversee financial health, budgeting, and governance.
