The Jewish Federation and Foundation of Central New York seek a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead two organizations, shape the future of Jewish life in Central New York, and strengthen community partnerships.

Reporting to the boards, the CEO will guide strategy, secure major gifts, manage operations, and cultivate donors and volunteers to grow the annual campaign and endowment, balancing two governance structures while advancing shared goals.

Qualifications

• Significant nonprofit leadership experience.
• Proven ability to raise major gifts and manage campaigns.
• Strong strategic thinking and execution.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building.
• Deep knowledge of Jewish communal life and values.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for both Federation and Foundation.
• Lead programs, operations, finances, fundraising, and communications.
• Develop and sustain donor relationships and major gifts.
• Collaborate with two boards to align missions.
• Provide executive leadership and build high-performing teams.
