Job Title: Centro Server Assistant

Division: Food & Beverage

Department: Centro

Reports to: Centro General Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Responsible facilitating food service by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carries plates and/or service trays to and from kitchen and dining room.
• Applies knowledge of the full menu, beverages, and other restaurant information such as restaurant hours, types of payments, hotel, and other outlets marking, and daily specials.
• Completes all assigned opening and closing side work to prepare dining room, kitchen, and service stations for efficient operation during meal period.
• Cleans and maintains all areas of restaurant including kitchen, bar, wipes tabletops, and chairs with damp sanitized cloth.
• Replaces and sets ups on tables with silverware and glassware.
• Replenishes supply of stocks such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in dining room; alerts kitchen and management of stock shortages.
• Supplies service bar with food such as soups, salads, entrees, and desserts.
• Assists server, bartender and customers as needed throughout the meal period.
• Lifts and carries garbage from the restaurant and disposes of in proper areas.
• Adheres to all restaurant policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
• Serves ice water to guests.
• Cleans and polishes glass shelves and equipment such as coffee urns and cream and milk dispensers and restocks.
• Reports any problems or discrepancies to management immediately.
• Communicates with host/hostess and manager when tables have been cleared.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of internet software.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
