Job description

Summary: Takes customer food and non/alcoholic beverage orders and completes currency transactions while performing the duties below. Other duties may be assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Greets guests with a pleasant smile and provides superior customer service.
2. Sets tables according to the type of event and service standards.
3. Takes orders and answers questions or offers suggestions on menu selections.
4. Records transactions in the point-of-sale system at the time of order.
5. Checks in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage.
6. Presents accurate checks to guests and processes payments.
7. Maintains cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
8. Cleans and sets up tables/rooms.
9. Completes all open/closing duties before clocking out.
