Job summary

Ingersoll Rand seeks a Centrifugal Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain centrifugal compressor systems. You will perform pre‑commissioning and start‑ups at customer sites, read wiring diagrams, complete work orders and time sheets, and coordinate parts with the service team.

The role requires at least 3 years of centrifugal compressor experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Daily travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of centrifugal compressor experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months.
• Ability to read wiring schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain centrifugal compressor lines.
• Perform pre-commissioning, start-ups, and on-site repairs.
• Read schematics, document work orders, and maintain time sheets.
• Suggest system improvements and coordinate with service teams.
• Conduct safety assessments and basic vibration checks.
