Centre Manager/Nominated Supervisor - Outstanding Centre!

Wings Algester is now ready TO WELCOME A DIRECTOR!!!

Our gorgeous new centre, Wings Early Learning Algester, has been opened for 4 months now. Our Managment team have worked hard to ensure the team of Educators is established and the families are settled in. We are now looking for an outstanding Centre Director to lead out team ongoing and help our centre thrive!

Located in the heart of Algester, Wings Early Learning is a brand new, purpose-built 100 place early learning centre committed to providing high-quality early education and care for local families.

We are currently seeking a Centre Manager/Nominated Supervisor to lead our outstanding team ongoing.

Responsibilities

Supported by an Administrator and Educational Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre and ensuring that it meets all legislative and quality standards. You will be involved in the recruitment of new team members and lead a team of qualified educators, creating a positive and supportive work environment.

You will be responsible for all things day to day within the centre including (but not limited to) leading and mentoring the staff, rostering, recruitment of staff when required, Assessment and Rating preparation and delivery, liaising with outside agencies, building connections within the community, navigating the Inclusion Support portal (when required),

The new centre features state-of-the-art facilities, including large outdoor play areas, beautiful solid timber furniture and unique learning resources. At Wings Early Learning we don’t just provide educators with all the tools needed to inspire little learners, we have also invested heavily in resort-like staff facilities to ensure our team members are well-supported and can enjoy a positive work-life balance.

Our staff facilities include:

A fully equipped dedicated staff room with a kitchen, comfortable seating and individual lockable lockers for personal belongings.

Multiple high end staff bathrooms and one full staff ensuite with shower, towel and laundry service, Robinhood Deluxe Ironing Centre, hair and beauty products, blow-dryer and straightener.

Monthly birthday celebrations for staff to celebrate together

Snacks and treats in the staff room on a regular basis! Including chocolates, chips, donuts, sushi, rice paper rolls, pizza, bakery treats and more!

Tea, Coffee and biscuits in staff room year round.

One hour lunch breaks

Our centre will have solar electricity lots of natural gardens in our play spaces and a water tank to harvest rainwater for gardening. In addition, we believe in the importance of nature play for children's development and have incorporated natural elements such as sandpits, built in water play, nature walks through our green spaces, and rocks and logs into our outdoor play area to encourage children's imagination and exploration.

Role Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

Recent experience as a Director in an early childhood education and care setting

A thorough understanding of the processes surrounding CCS, Inclusion support and QLD Kindy Funding

A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education

A current Blue Card and ACECQA approved First Aid qualifications

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and value customer service

A passion for providing high-quality care and education to children and mentoring educators
