Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Mobile Technician to bring car care directly to customers’ driveways. After collecting your equipped van from the hub, you’ll perform tyre fitting, dash-cam and battery work, air-con services, windscreen repairs and more with guidance from smart route software.

Full training is provided. The role offers a base salary of £30,052 with a target OTE up to £34,052 and an annual bonus averaging around £4,000. Expect a 44-hour week with weekend rotation and ample employee benefits.

• Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter or in other vehicle repair work.
• Strong customer service skills & experience.
• Ability to problem‑solve and work on own initiative.
• This role will suit those with a real passion for all things cars & motoring.
• A current valid driving licence with no more than 6 points.

• On-target earnings up to £34,052
• A monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £4000 Per year
• Comprising a base salary of £30,052
• 44 hour week
• Shift pattern between Monday - Sunday 8:00 - 20:00 with every other weekend included (5-day pattern may also be available)

As a Mobile Technician, you’ll use your technical knowledge, problem-solving ability and customer service skills to keep our customers moving. After collecting your fully equipped van from the local Hub, you’ll be guided through your route by our smart technology, carrying out a wide range of repairs and services for our customers.

With full training provided for any gaps in your skill set, you can expect to carry out the following work, day-to‑day:

• Tyre fitting
• Dash‑cam fitting
• Battery replacement
• Air‑con services
• Windscreen repairs
• Oil & filter changes
• Tow‑bar fitting
