Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician in Colchester to perform interim, full and major services, plus follow-up repair work including tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension. You will join the Autocentres team, delivering high-quality automotive services.

The role requires a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time served), a full driving licence with <=9 points, and proven service delivery experience. Training and progression are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services and related repair work such as brakes, suspension and steering.

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and follow-up repair work.
• Perform tyre, brake, transmission, steering and suspension work as required.
• Contribute to safe vehicle service delivery and customer satisfaction.
