Job summary

Halfords, the UK’s largest automotive service group, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our Blackburn Autocentre in Lancashire. You’ll perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and carry out a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work to keep cars safe on the road.

With a base salary of £34,000 plus an uncapped bonus averaging £6,800, total earnings can reach up to £40,800 per year.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience).
• Valid MOT Testing Licence
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points

Responsibilities

• As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you’ll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work.
• From advanced diagnostics & repairs to routine services, you’ll ensure every job is done to the highest standard.
