Job summary

Avita Health System in Crestline, Ohio is seeking a dedicated Centralized Scheduler to support the Centralized Scheduling Department. You will coordinate admissions for inpatients and hospital-based outpatient services, ensure accurate patient data, and communicate policies to patients and representatives.

Ideal candidates have customer service experience, a high school diploma, and experience with financial accounts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience dealing with customers.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience or education working with financial accounts.

Responsibilities

• Arranges for the orderly admission of inpatients and hospital-based outpatient testing or procedures.
• Ensures patient information is collected and patients are aware of hospital policies.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Centralized Scheduler to join our Centralized Scheduling Department at our Crestline location.

Position Overview

Arranges for the efficient and orderly admission of inpatients and admission of individuals who have hospital-based outpatient testing or procedures. Ensures that the patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures. Interviews incoming patient or representatives and enters information required for admission into computer database. Distributes appropriate information to ancillary departments. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.

Qualifications

Required:

• Previous experience dealing with customers.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience or education working with financial accounts.

Preferred:

• Associates degree in business/accounting or related field.
