Job summary

SalusCare, Inc is seeking a compassionate Clinician with assessment experience in multi-campus care for patients with mental health and addiction diagnoses. You will perform crisis intervention, mental health assessments, and meticulous documentation to support therapeutic care in adult and children’s crisis and detox units.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a human services field, with direct care experience in behavioral health preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university; one year of direct care experience in behavioral health.
• Master's degree in a human services field; direct care experience in behavioral health preferred.
• Competency with electronic health record systems within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for individuals entering the Centralized Receiving Facility.
• Complete mental health assessments for individuals presenting to the CRF.
• Manage the CRF intake process, securing service consent and preparing financial forms.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of clinical and administrative records.

Job Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited college of university in social work, psychology, counseling or related field and (1) year of experience proving direct care services in a behavioral health setting. OR
• Master's degree in a human services field; experience providing direct care in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
• Must be able to attain competency with electronic health record and use it effectively within required timeframes.
