Job summary

HealthDirect Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Customer Service Technician to handle accurate data entry of patient profiles and medications, ensure proper billing of third-party claims, and assist in training staff across facilities. The role includes setting up new homes, regional implementation, and occasional travel to HealthDirect Pharmacy locations.

You will maintain up-to-date facility data, oversee unbilled reports with the billing team, and complete all mandatory trainings.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
• AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field
• 2 years’ experience as a pharmacy customer service technician required
• Pre-employment and/or random drug screening will be completed

Responsibilities

• Enter medication orders accurately for facilities and ensure Third-Party claims are billed properly
• Assist fellow technicians with training and daily functions
• Maintain accurate patient and facility profiles
• Bill and credit each facility monthly
• Assist in new home setup and regional implementation
• Occasional travel to HealthDirect Pharmacy
• Orient and train new employees
• Manage unbilled reports with billing department
• Complete mandatory regulatory training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Collaborate with outside services (INFINX, SDS)

Job Summary: Responsible for all aspects related to entering the medication orders for various facilities.Ensuring that all Third-Party claims are billed properly.
