Job summary

LOOP LLC (Louisiana Offshore Oil Port) seeks a Centralized Maintenance Technician to support LOOP and LOOP-supported facilities across southeastern Louisiana, including the Clovelly Hub and Marine Terminal. This role emphasizes maintenance across electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and HVAC systems to ensure reliable operations.

The candidate will be based at LOOP Marine Terminal GI-59 with up to seventy percent travel within Gulf of Mexico facilities in year 1, reporting to the Supervisor,

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years’ work experience in one or a combination of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, machinist, or HVAC.
• Vocational school degree or certificates in related field preferred.
• Certification/license/training such as NCCER, NECA Journeyman, ASE, CAT engines, NATE, EPA 608 is preferred.
• High school diploma is required.
• Proficient in interpreting and using manufacturer manuals and drawings.
• Experience using CMMS programs.
• Live within 1 hour of Galliano facility.

Responsibilities

• Safe, skilled and timely performance of ad hoc and preventive maintenance on equipment across multiple systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and communications equipment.
• Support operations on special projects with Engineering.
• Record repairs, history, and replacements in the CMMS.
• Assist in procuring materials and services for maintenance needs.
• Identify and purchase spare parts and supplies; coordinate with Central Maintenance group.
• Participate in Oil Spill Response Team as required.
• Maintain training and certifications per LOOP and OSHA standards.
• Report for duty during irregular hours to maintain operations.
