Job summary

LOOP in Louisiana is seeking an entry-level LOCAP Utility Technician to monitor and operate pipelines and storage systems, under supervision during on-the-job training. You’ll complete training within set timelines and perform daily tasks in support of operations across LOCAP facilities.

The role requires an AA degree or technical certificate, a minimum of three years’ experience or training, and the ability to work 12-hour day/night shifts on a 7/7 schedule.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical certificate preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience or training.
• OQ Task LOCAP Utility Technician certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate pipelines, storage tanks, and measurement systems.
• Participate in observation/intervention/SWA program.
• Assist in maintenance and PM execution to maximize equipment availability.
• Record repairs and history in the LOOP CMMS.
• Support on-the-job training and absorb day-to-day tasks.
