Job summary

Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, OR seeks a Central Sterile Technician II to perform decontamination, preparation, high-level disinfection, sterilization and distribution of instruments and case carts for surgical cases.

Role requires knowledge of sterilization methods, infection control and accurate documentation. Certification in Central Service is required; two years preferred. This position is based in a hospital setting and supports OR readiness.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate instruments and equipment for safe handling.
• Operates decontamination equipment safely and correctly.
• Assemble and package instruments for sterilization.
• Maintain sterile packs and organize supplies per par levels.
• Support in instrument tracking and case cart preparation.
• Monitor sterilization equipment and maintain records.
