Eastside Medical Center seeks a Central Sterile Technician to maintain standards for set assembly, decontamination, and sterilization of surgical instruments. You will perform sterilization, assembly and storage of supplies, and coordinate with Perioperative Nursing staff to ready instrument sets and case carts.

• Ability to follow established sterile techniques and workflows.

Responsabilités

• Maintains recommended standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing and sterilizing surgical instruments in an accurate and timely manner.
• Performs sterilization, assembly and storage of medical supplies and equipment.
• Collaborates with the Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets, equipment and case carts in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assists in maintaining consistent and continuous work flow, providing superior customer service.

Formation

H.S. Diploma or GED Required

Graduate of Central Sterile Tech

In lieu of CST Certificate, 3 years Central Sterile experience
