Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a Central Sterile Technician to ensure sterilization and preparation of instrument sets and supplies for perioperative services. You will assemble, decontaminate, and store surgical instruments, collaborating with nursing staff to maintain workflow and deliver excellent service.
Qualifications include a GED and CST-related certification; a CST or CCST certification is preferred, with 3 years of Central Sterile experience required for non-certified applicants.

Maintains recommended standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing and sterilizing surgical instruments in an accurate and timely manner. Performs sterilization, assembly and storage of medical supplies and equipment. Collaborates with the Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets, equipment and case carts in an accurate and timely manner. Assists in maintaining consistent and continuous work flow, providing superior customer service.
