Qualifications

• Five years clinical experience in Surgical Services, Sterile Processing or similar services.
• Two years of progressive leadership experience.
• Associate degree in health care, healthcare management, applied science, or healthcare business.
• Certified Sterile Processing Tech.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with physicians and caregivers at all levels.
• Demonstrate leadership, mentoring or coaching abilities.
• Knowledge of financial and cost-benefit analysis.
• Experience with CSS (Central Sterile Processing).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the operational leader for Central Sterile Processing services within assigned areas of responsibility.
• Direct staffing, scheduling, productivity monitoring, and appropriate utilization of personnel.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and maintain departmental budgets.
• Monitor financial performance and optimize labor, inventory, and equipment utilization.
• Establish and report KPIs related to quality, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with perioperative and clinical leaders to resolve operational issues.
