Job summary

Opendoor is seeking a Central Homes Project Manager to oversee renovation projects at scale from Phoenix and Miami-based offices. You’ll coach contractors into high-performance partnerships, standardize workflows, and leverage AI to drive smarter decisions, faster execution, and consistent quality.

In this role you will manage a portfolio of concurrent renovations, aligning scope, budget, and schedule while building scalable processes and tooling to support nationwide operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in construction or renovation project management, preferably in high-volume remote oversight.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to coach vendors into consistent, high-quality performance.
• Knowledge of project management processes, documentation, and AI-assisted tooling.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and contractors.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead virtual pre-construction meetings to align scope, budget, schedule and success criteria.
• Review inspection reports and AI-assisted insights to identify scope gaps and risks.
• Identify contractor fit and establish change orders and project controls before work begins.
• Establish complete project documentation enabling reporting, automation, and AI-assisted decision making.
• Run virtual project kickoffs, validate scope, and set expectations with contractors.
• Proactively manage active renovation projects with daily visibility and AI-assisted analysis.
• Hold contractors accountable, manage change orders with urgency, and ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
• Coordinate final quality validation, listing readiness, photography, and listing maintenance.
• Capture recurring issues and drive continuous improvement across processes and tooling.
