Job summary

Opendoor seeks a Homes Project Manager for the Central Renovations Team based in Tempe, AZ. You will manage a portfolio of renovation projects at scale, coaching contractors, and applying AI-assisted insights to optimize cost, quality, and schedule.

You will leverage standardized processes and technology to drive standardization, automation, and better decision making across centralized renovation operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in construction or renovation project management.
• Identify scope gaps from inspection reports and photos without in-person access.
• Demonstrated ability to manage contractors to tight timelines and costs with autonomy.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Comfort with ambiguity and fast-changing processes; startup mentality.
• Systems fluency: Google Workspace, Slack, PM platforms; ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead virtual pre-construction meetings; align on scope, budget, schedule, and success criteria.
• Review inspection reports, photos, and AI insights to identify gaps and risks.
• Identify contractor fit and establish change order protocols.
• Drive projects to on-time, on-budget completion using standardized processes and automation.
• Coach contractors toward high-performing partnerships and accountability.
• Coordinate QA, listing readiness, and final project documentation.
