Job summary

Integrated Power USA, the energy platform of TotalEnergies in North America, is expanding its Central Region portfolio across ERCOT, SPP, and MISO. This leadership role guides a development team of 4–5 professionals and partners with Greenfield, M&A, and execution teams to drive multi-project strategies from interconnection through transition to execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, Planning, Economics, Geography, Public Policy, Renewable Energy, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong manager-coach capabilities while directly managing, coaching, and developing approximately 4-5 development professionals.
• Set regional priorities and oversee development performance using enterprise portfolio tools and governance processes.
• Post-Site-Control Development Ownership: assume regional accountability for projects after site control and lead through approvals, financial close or sale, and transition to execution.
• Strategic Partnership with Greenfield & M&A: guide target markets, opportunities, and diligence while preserving origination ownership.
• Project Governance & Risk Management: review strategies, budgets, schedules, risk, and mitigation plans; sponsor decision-ready recommendations.
• Cross-Functional & Execution Alignment: align with Interconnection, Environment and Permitting, Real Estate, GIS, Engineering and Execution, EPC, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Tax, Insurance, Communications, and Asset Management.
• External Stakeholder Leadership: oversee relationships with utilities, transmission owners, regulators, public officials, landowners, and consultants; support high-value discussions.
• Executive Reporting & Decision Support: own portfolio narrative, inputs, risk assessments, and recommendations for executive leadership.
• Accountability for Central Region portfolio performance and 4–5 direct reports; ensure governance and tools usage across the region.
