Responsibilities

Summary/Responsibilities of this position: A Sales Lead will apply advanced skills and procedures specific to their area of specialization, possibly overseeing supervisory tasks. They will manage product orders to maximize sales, demonstrate culinary expertise, and work independently based on detailed instructions. The role involves applying guidelines, promptly addressing issues, and making sound decisions on daily matters. Specific product knowledge relevant to the department is required.

Experience and Education (Preferred)

Typically requires 5-8 years of experience. Knowledge of department products, food preparation, and equipment is essential. Extensive knowledge of specialty foods and culinary skills is preferred. Strong customer service skills, a passion for food, and Materials Handling Equipment certification are also desirable. Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work in fast-paced and extreme temperature environments, and previous retail or restaurant experience.

Physical and Other Requirements

Must be capable of handling weights exceeding 25 lbs., up to 50 lbs.
