Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Central Intake Coordinator to manage intake functions, including clinical and financial review of referrals, insurance benefit verifications, and prior authorizations. You will approve or escalate referrals based on facility capabilities, and collaborate with hospital systems, case managers and facility leadership.

The role requires two years in long-term care, admission/referral experience, and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in long-term care or related industry.
• Minimum of two years’ admission experience; referral management experience preferred.
• Must understand long-term care business, including census and quality mix goals and referral expectations.
• Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to navigate multiple electronic healthcare referral systems.
