Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, a part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Central Fill Pharmacy Technician in Woonsocket, RI. The role supports mental health and specialty pharmacy operations, dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Shift is Monday-Friday, 10:30am-7:00pm EST at 68 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, RI. Responsibilities include inventory, processing orders, and maintaining compliance with federal/state requirements.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician license.
• 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Ability to lift 15 pounds.
• Ability to stand and work for entire shift.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Work with large machines to fill scripts
• Receive, store, and handle incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Work with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Other duties as assigned
