Job summary

Gundersen Health System, in partnership with Emplify Health, is seeking a full-time Central Fill Pharmacy Technician to join the West Salem, WI team. The role supports high-volume prescription processing by preparing, packaging, and labeling medications accurately and efficiently, in collaboration with pharmacists and the pharmacy staff.

We offer a starting pay of $19.05/hour with additional progression based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program or at least one year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of WI.
• Nationally recognized certification for Pharmacy Technician credential (CPhT or ExCPT) or willingness to become certified within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare prescription orders in a central fill setting.
• Count, package, and label medications accurately.
• Support prescription workflow, inventory, and restocking.
• Follow pharmacy procedures to help ensure safety and accuracy.
• Work with pharmacists and team members to meet daily volume needs.

Education

High school diploma or equivalency
