Job summary

Pikeville Medical Center Inc. is seeking a dedicated manager to oversee inpatient and outpatient admissions, registration, and preregistration operations at our Pikeville, KY campus. The role includes ensuring insurance verification efficiency, regulatory compliance, and staff leadership.

You will participate in budget management, staffing, training, and performance evaluations while upholding infection control and safety policies across the department.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years management experience.
• Knowledge of financial and third party processes.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and manages all inpatient and outpatient admissions functions, including registration and preregistration.
• Maintains an efficient registration, preregistration and insurance verification process.
• Maintains knowledge of CMS and other regulatory processes to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Assists in departmental budget and ensures departments are run within budgeted dollars.
• Assists with hiring, training, and assigning departmental staff.
• Evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
• Adheres to medical center policies addressing infection control, safety, and personnel guidelines.
