Festival Foods in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Center Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations across Grocery, Frozen/Dairy, Natural/Organic, and HBC/GM areas. You will supervise Center Store teams, balance stock, and coordinate with vendors under the guidance of a Senior Manager.

You will ensure merchandising, pricing accuracy, and department readiness. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Retail grocery knowledge, preferably center store operations.
• Strong decision-making and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn POS systems.
• Ability to lift 50–60 pounds and work in a physically active role.

Responsibilities

• Provide Leadership: Work alongside Center Store associates, giving clear direction and coaching on best practices.
• Execute Daily Operations: Ensure all center store departments are stocked, organized, and meeting goals by leading staff.
• Manage Inventory & Orders: Balance orders, monitor deliveries, and coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain a Smooth Workflow: Troubleshoot issues, assist in scheduling, adapt plans as needed.
• Ensure Department Readiness: Oversee stocking, pricing accuracy, and merchandising.
• Leadership Coverage: Provide coverage when Senior Manager is unavailable.
• Train and Mentor: Develop Center Store staff and foster a positive team environment.
• Cashier Trained: Ready to assist at register or during store closing.
• Collaborate Across Departments: Coordinate with other leaders to resolve challenges.
• Ensure Compliance & Safety: Uphold safety policies and regulatory standards.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain reliable attendance.
• Support the Team: Other duties as assigned.
