Job summary

Schnucks is seeking a trusted leader in Ferguson, KY to coach, develop, and inspire Center Store teammates, ensuring high standards of customer service and store conditions while supporting financial goals.

You will schedule and supervise department staff, manage inventory, coordinate merchandising and promotional programs, and identify opportunities to improve sales, gross profit, and efficiency to achieve the department’s plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma, degree, or relevant work experience considered.
• Minimum years of experience: 1 to 3 years. Current retail grocery experience required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Center Store policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Working knowledge of Google Suite, Chromebook, symbols device (CAO) Certified Receiver (or able to become certified if hired)
• Familiar with Schnucks applications (i.e. Shelfman, DOMO, Schnucks WORX scheduling system, etc.)
• Ability to plan and execute merchandising excellence.
• Demonstrate resilience, resourcefulness and a positive attitude towards change.
• Effectively communicate cascading information.
• Ability to coach, develop and inspire others through relationship building.
• Act with integrity and maintain confidentiality.
• Routinely lift items over 50 lbs., walk/stand for extended periods of time.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Bending Stooping
• Able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
• Able to push loaded two wheeler (average 100-120 pounds)
• Able to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds)
• Able to pull loaded stock truck
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working on feet entire shift (8hours)

Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates

• Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
