Job summary

Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a Department Manager to lead the assigned department, driving merchandise quality, appearance, and customer service excellence. You will build strong associate and customer relations, model Hannaford culture, and ensure safety, sanitation, and food safety standards across the department.

You will hire, train, and develop staff, manage schedules, and work toward departmental financial objectives while maintaining accurate records and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and manage associates across departments.
• College degree or equivalent preferred; food safety accreditation preferred.
