Job summary

Entertimeonline is seeking a Center Manager to oversee operations of a daycare center, managing staff, directing teaching activities, and ensuring policy compliance. The role demands a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field and at least three years of experience with children.

The position requires flexible scheduling, a valid Mississippi driver’s license, and strong communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field; minimum 18 credit hours in related EC topics.
• Minimum three years of experience working with children, ability to adapt curriculum for diverse learners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish desirable.
• Flexible schedule including occasional evenings or weekends; valid Mississippi driver’s license.
• Regular kneeling, lifting, and active supervision of children as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily program of activities contributing to care, growth, and development per standards.
• Schedule and supervise center personnel and volunteers to maintain adequate adult/child ratios.
• Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and professional development.
• Maintain center records required by licensing and policies (attendance, health checks, inventories).
• Secure and maintain supplies for the site; ensure curricula are implemented properly.
• Support safe, healthy classroom environment and proper equipment/storage.
