Job summary

Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking a Center Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of a family planning or surgical center, hire and supervise staff, and implement procedures to ensure high quality, service excellence, and adherence to HIPAA.

This leadership role requires coordinating budgets, staffing, scheduling, training, and reporting to Patient Services Administration; evening and Saturday availability; and travel within PPSP service area as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Must have family planning and/or health care delivery experience including supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage effective operating systems.
• Must be able to work with a variety of people and have a strong history of direct service experience using interviewing, education and crisis intervention skills.
• Availability to work evenings and Saturdays.
• Understanding of OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Hires and supervises all non-clinician center staff; hires and supervises clinicians in consultation with the Director of Patient Services, Director of Clinical Services, and the Medical Director.
• Develops and implements training/orientation plan of new staff in conjunction with appropriate Patient Services Administration.
• Performs annual performance reviews on center staff.
• Develops and monitors staff performance plans, and works closely with staff to achieve objectives.
• Develops and/or implements non-medical procedures for operation of center, including appointment systems, communication systems, medical records, billing, suppliers, waste management, Risk & Quality Management.
• Assists Patient Services Administration in developing annual center budget including visit/procedure and revenue projections.
• Manages center’s fiscal budget.
• Submits regular reports as required by Patient Services Administration.
• Oversees medical record systems (charts, logs, etc.) to ensure accurate data entry, filing, access and storage, in full compliance with standards of care and legal requirements including HIPAA.
