Job summary

U-Haul is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily center operations in the General Manager’s absence. You will allocate resources, guide a team, and ensure excellent customer care.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and proven leadership. You may perform tasks like hitch installations, while engaging in ongoing U-Haul training and development.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in any form.
• Customer service experience.
• Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
