Job summary

U-Haul is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Dallas to run daily center operations in the General Manager’s absence and lead a capable team. You will allocate resources, ensure top-notch customer care, and participate in ongoing training through U-Haul University.

Responsibilities include on-the-floor decision making, coordinating staff tasks, and handling miscellaneous duties like hitch installation while driving service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in any form.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in GM’s absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to projects.
• Manage and assign team members to ensure excellent first impressions and quality of care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
