Job summary

U-Haul Holding Company in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily center operations in the absence of the General Manager. You will guide a team to deliver outstanding customer service and ensure efficient workflow.

Responsibilities include prioritizing tasks, allocating resources, and completing miscellaneous duties such as hitch installations. You will participate in ongoing U-Haul training through U-Haul University and contribute to a safe, high-performing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Leadership experience in any form.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily center operations in GM’s absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
