Job summary

KidStrong is seeking a Development Specialist for New Center Openings to support pre-sale and operational functions as part of a fast-growing team. You will coordinate with franchisees, internal departments, and external partners to launch new KidStrong centers, tracking milestones and ensuring timely openings.

The role requires strong organizational skills, experience in project coordination, and the ability to work cross-functionally to uphold brand standards and drive successful openings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management or coordination experience in construction, franchise operations, or real estate development preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with project management methods and KPIs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Support a portfolio of 15–20 centers by tracking development timelines, milestones, resources, and project data in PM software.
• Own each center’s scorecard and provide data-driven recommendations to achieve opening goals.
• Identify risks early and escalate with mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate new project requests and maintain a comprehensive database of upcoming projects.
• Collaborate with franchisees and internal teams to develop new KidStrong centers.
• Prepare and share operational updates with HQ leadership.
• Maintain accurate project files through the development lifecycle and manage relevant documentation.
• Build relationships with outside consultants, vendors, and contractors to avoid delays.
• Coach Area Developers to meet brand standards and guide pre-sale and opening processes.
