Job summary

The Charles River YMCA, part of the YMCA of Greater Boston, is seeking an Executive Director to lead the branch, coach staff, and deliver a transformative Y Experience. Under VP operations, responsible for strategic execution and innovation.

Responsibilities include budget management, fundraising, community engagement, board development, and overseeing operations, programs, and facilities with a focus on growth and member experience.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Four-year college degree required.
• Proven track record in membership and program growth.
• Strong fiscal management and budgeting experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of Design Thinking is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach and manage direct reports; ensure OKRs.
• Develop and manage annual budget per guidelines.
• Drive membership, program enrollment and growth.
• Develop and maintain a high-performing Board of Advisors.
• Lead fundraising and financial development initiatives.
• Engage community partners and local organizations.
• Collaborate with Child Development and center operations.
• Lead marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Oversee facility management and safety.
• Lead innovation and design thinking at the branch.
