Job summary

Welltech Partners seeks a Center Director of Physical Therapy for an outpatient clinic in Modesto, CA. The role requires evaluating and treating adults, directing PTA/ aides, and coordinating with physicians and nurses for comprehensive patient care.

The ideal candidate holds CA PT licensure (DPT preferred), and EMR experience is desirable. NEW GRADS welcome; relocation and signing bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Valid California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• DPT in Physical Therapy or related field (preferred).
• NEW GRADS WELCOME.
• Current CPR certification (preferred).
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Knowledge of the latest therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
• Strong commitment to ethical and professional standards in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical limitations or impairments.
• Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation.
• Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs.
• Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and any changes in status.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• 12 - 14 patients/day ( 1 pt every 30 mins).
• Management of PTA & aides, 1- 2 at most.
• Leadership skills without additional administrative responsibilities.
