Job summary

ChenMed LLC in Virginia is seeking an Associate Center Clinical Director to supervise and train primary care providers at the assigned center. This role balances direct patient care with leadership duties to improve clinical quality, efficiency, outcomes, and patient satisfaction.

The incumbent will lead the care team, engage with hospitalists and care managers, and participate in weekly leadership activities while ensuring strong clinical-operations synergy across the center.

Qualifications

• MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar.
• Current active MD license in the state of employment.
• Board certification preferred; board eligibility required.
• DEA number for schedule II–V controlled substances.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for older adults with acute and chronic illnesses; assume accountability for outcomes.
• Collaborate with hospitalists when patients are hospitalized.
• Lead care team (MA, care facilitator, care coordinator) for office-based patients.
• Engage in transitional care for hospital, SNF, LTC, or homebound patients.
• Lead weekly SH and TCM; support center leaders and market leadership as needed.
• Assist in recruiting patients and interviewing providers for the center.
