Job summary

ChenMed is seeking an Associate Center Clinical Director to oversee clinical outcomes, center performance, and leadership across centers in the assigned market. The role includes direct patient care components as the need arises and heavy emphasis on coaching Medical Directors, PCPs and NPs to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care.

You will drive clinical excellence, build productive payer and community relationships, and foster a culture that aligns with ChenMed’s core model and values.10+

Qualifications

• MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics or similar specialty.
• Current, active license to practice medicine in state of employment.
• Board eligibility/certification preferred; experience with population risk management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs accountability for clinical outcomes and day-to-day management of Medical Directors in multiple centers within assigned market.
• Ensures successful clinical operations and meeting/exceeding plan market earnings.
• Mentors Medical Directors and develops PCPs, NPs, and Medical Directors.
• Leads talent development, coaching, and performance management in the centers.
• Drives a physician culture aligned with ChenMed core model, values, and service standards.
• Partners with Clinical COE and Talent Acquisition for clinician hiring and development.
