Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring for a Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician to work with children with autism in a one-on-one setting under a BCBA. You’ll use evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social and daily living skills while supporting a safe, positive learning environment in San Antonio, TX.

The role requires patience, compassion and teamwork, and includes comprehensive training. Pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and a TB test; pass background check.
• Can lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform multiple positions.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
