Job summary

Centria Autism in San Antonio seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under BCBA supervision. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Training is provided; prior experience is not required. You should be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team, with the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with a BCBA and other team members to support clients.
• Assist with ensuring safety and managing challenging behaviors when needed.
