Job summary

Centria Autism Center in Michigan is seeking center-based Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, implementing individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.

You will help teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods while ensuring a safe, supportive environment. Training is provided and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Able to work well in a team and stay patient with children.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and a TB test.
• Pass a pre-employment background check and meet basic physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans.
• Collaborate with BCBA for instruction and data collection.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.
• Be prepared to stand, move, and assist with activities throughout the day.
