Job summary

Centria is seeking enthusiastic individuals for the Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Comprehensive training is provided, and you will join a supportive team dedicated to helping children with autism reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Be part of a dedicated team and contribute to improving lives of children with autism.
• Role involves standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and carrying activities.
