Job summary

Opal Autism Centers in Wilmington, NC, is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement individualized ABA therapy under BCBA supervision at our center-based program. This full-time role requires compassionate care, data collection, and interaction with families to support progress.

You will participate in ongoing training, receive competitive pay, a $1,000 bonus, and access to our student analyst program, with tuition discounts at partner universities.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or BACB 40-hour training completion.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year experience with children or individuals with special needs.
• CPR certification before start date.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical standards in behavior analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a treatment team.
• Willingness for ongoing professional development and training.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and participate on-site.
• Fully on-site center-based work environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Collect data on client behaviors and progress.
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning.
• Communicate progress and strategies with families.
