Opal Autism Centers in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for full-time, center-based work at our 1330 AshleybrookLane location. You will implement treatment plans under BCBA supervision and support families to understand the therapy process.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or BACB-approved training completion.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience with children or individuals with special needs.
• Ability to obtain CPR certification before start date.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical standards in behavior analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a treatment team.
• Willingness for ongoing professional development.
• Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs; on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Collect data on client behaviors and progress.
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning.
• Communicate with families about their child's progress and strategies.
• Assist in developing educational materials and resources.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of behavior analysis.
