Job summary

Opal Autism Centers in Garner, NC is seeking a registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA. This on-site, center-based role delivers high-quality, compassionate care to children with autism and engages families in the therapy process.

You'll collect data, help develop educational materials, participate in team meetings, and stay compliant with BACB guidelines while pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or BACB 40-hour training recognized by BACB.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience working with children or individuals with special needs.
• Ability to obtain CPR certification before start date.
• Criminal background check required.
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical standards in behavior analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a treatment team.
• Desire for ongoing professional development and training.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and remain on-site in a center-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
