Job summary

Opal Autism Centers is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver high-quality, compassionate ABA therapy under supervision. You will implement individualized treatment plans, collect and analyze data, and engage families to support progress in a center-based setting in Jacksonville, NC.

The role emphasizes ongoing professional development, supervision by a BCBA, and access to training, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or BACB-approved course completion.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year experience with children or individuals with special needs.
• Ability to obtain CPR certification before start date.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA
• Collect data on client behaviors and progress
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning and development
• Communicate with families about their child's progress and strategies
• Assist in developing educational materials and resources
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of behavior analysis
