Job summary

Centria Autism in Salem, OR is seeking a Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism through one-on-one sessions under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills with evidence-based methods, while ensuring safety and compassion in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training, and the role involves

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test (if not in last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, bend, lift).

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors while maintaining safety.
